output_wbhFih_(3)_0.gifThe holidays are here! That special time of year when people around the world give thanks, give joy, give gifts and Give Back. This year we launch the giving season with #GivingTuesday, a global day to harness the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity. Every year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving millions of people around the world come together to champion the causes they believe in and the communities they live in.

If you believe in a better education for our youth, fair and accountable government, and an economy that allows all to prosper - here are some ways you can launch your giving season with ORG!

1) Give a Gift

The Organization for Responsible Governance couldn't do the work that it does without the generous support of donors like you! Your gift will fund research, programs, and policies to improve the education system in our country, fight corruption, ensure government accountability and transparency, and grow the Bahamian economy.

2) Give Your Time

The work we do would be impossible without the diverse, generous volunteers who make our programs a reality. Whether you give your voice, your time, or your expertise we invite you to join ORG's team of dedicated advocates and change agents working for brighter tomorrow for The Bahamas.

3) Give a Shout

Why do YOU give? This Giving Tuesday, spread the word about the giving movement why you give to ORG by posting an "UNselfie". Here is how! Once you have donated or signed up to volunteer (or if you are already a donor or volunteer) print out this sheet and write down why you choose to give to ORG. Snap a photo of yourself holding up your reason and post it on Facebook with the tags "@ORG Bahamas Foundation" and "#GivingTuesday". It's as easy as that: Write. Snap. Post. Tag.

However you give, ORG is thankful for each supporter that has helped us get to where we are. Every act of generosity counts!
