 Matthew Aubry
Matthew is a Licensed Master Social Worker and a graduate of the Hunter School of Social Work with more than 25 years’ experience leading dynamic teams at award-winning not-for-profit-organizations. He served as a Director at YAI Network, an international recognized disabilities agency and at Action Against Hunger, a renowned global humanitarian and hunger relief organization.
In The Bahamas, Matt was the Director of Community Relations and Partnerships for Baha Mar; overseeing the BELIEVE Foundation. Additionally, he has served as a consultant for REACH, Young Marine Explorers, The Seahorse Institute and the Ministry of Social Services. Over his career. he has worked on advocacy and social justice efforts in the United States, Jordan, India, Bangladesh, The Bahamas and The United Emirates. Matt is recognized with an expertise in fundraising, marketing, community organizing, corporate social responsibility and not for profit management.

 Pamela Burnside
Pamela Burnside holds Degrees in English from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada, and Fashion/Textiles from St Martin’s School of Art, London.
She is the owner and manager of Doongalik Studios Art Gallery in Nassau, a creative exhibition space and fine art retail store founded in the 1970s with her late husband, Jackson Burnside III.
Pam is Secretary of Transforming Spaces, a Bahamian art tour organization, and she is President of Creative Nassau, a registered non-profit community organization which ‘celebrates and promotes Bahamian Art, Culture and Heritage from the inside out’ with particular emphasis on Bahamian straw craft. In 2014, Creative Nassau obtained the designation for the City Nassau to become a City of Crafts and Folk Art in the 260-city strong UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
Pam is an activist who writes regular letters to the Press. She is also a member of the IDB’s Civil Society group and was recently appointed to the Orange Economy Subcommittee of the Economic Recovery Committee formed by the Bahamian Government in response to COVID-19.

Erin Brown Connects
Over sixteen years, Erin has represented and impacted disability inclusion in diverse roles; strategist, facilitator, disability access specialist, humanitarian, ambassador, and adaptive athlete in the Caribbean, The Americas, and The Commonwealth.
Erin is one of The Bahamas’ most influential Disability Inclusion Consultants providing Ministerial and Civil Society support in Policy Reform, Disaster and Emergency Preparedness and Response, as well as Compliance and Paralympic Development.
Currently, as a Disabilities and Compliance Officer, at The University of the Bahamas in The Office of Disabilities and Compliance. Erin continues to provide community leaders and organizations with the support, training and resources needed to provide accessible and inclusive solutions for people with disabilities nationally and worldwide.

 Anthony Hamilton
Dr. Anthony Hamilton lends insight into national development through his leadership in various civil society organizations. He is the current President of Civil Society Bahamas, Chair of The Accountability Committee — Organization For Responsible Governance (ORG), President of the Bahamas Association of Air Transport Operators (BAATO), Vice Chairman of the Airline Operators Council (AOC) at the Lynden Pindling International Airport, Director of Administration for Southern Air Charter Company Limited (SACCL), Director at RideBahamas Transportation Company, and Director at WMS International.
Dr. Hamilton holds a Doctorate, Masters, and Bachelors of Theology from Christian Life School of Theology (Columbus, Georgia USA); an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from The College of The Bahamas, a Business Diploma from the University of Wisconsin Graduate School, along with numerous other professional certifications in arbitration and leadership skills.

Casuarina Mckinney-Lambert
Casuarina was born and raised in Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera, Bahamas. She has a strong passion for protecting the marine environment and sustaining the communities that depend on our waters. She completed the International Baccalaureate at the United World College of the Atlantic in Wales and graduated with a degree in Marine Biology and Environmental Policy from Duke University. Casuarina studied mangrove creeks and wetlands throughout The Bahamas, and taught science and coordinated student research at the Cape Eleuthera Island School before joining BREEF.
Casuarina was a founding board member of the One Eleuthera Foundation and the Bahamas Protected Areas Fund, and she is a member of the National Biodiversity Committee, the National Climate Change Committee and the Fisheries Advisory Board. Casuarina has served on several Town Planning urban development boards and is a member of the Bahamas SDG Technical Committee for Environmental Sustainability. Casuarina has represented The Bahamas at numerous regional and international conferences.
While happy on land, Casuarina is most at home underwater. She is a Divemaster and an avid sailor with a history of exploring the most remote and pristine islands and reefs in very small boats.

 Tiffany Bain
Tiffany started her post collegiate career development as a middle and high school paraprofessional, before completing a post graduate certificate in education and formally taking on the career trade of learning designer. As an education professional, she grew in her passion for equity and access to education, leaving St Andrew’s School where she served as the chair for Individuals and Society to start The Community School in 2012. During this period, she also became a teacher success coach for the Lyford Cay Foundation’s FOCUS Programme. At FOCUS she expanded in her role becoming the curriculum and then program coordinator.
Influenced by her work in out of school programming designed to support college readiness and access in underserved youth, Tiffany changed career paths from being a professional educator and entrepreneur, closing her school in 2018, to move to full time nonprofit work in equitable education and advocacy. She currently works as an education and program consultant, Lead for ORG Education, and an adjunct professor in Psychology at the University of The Bahamas.'
Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Bethune-Cookman College, and a Postgraduate certificate in education, specializing in curriculum and pedagogy from the University of Southern Queensland, and a Masters of Science in Child, Youth and Family Studies with a youth development specialization from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Human Rights Advocate and Media Personality
Erin Greene is a local Intersectional Human Rights Advocate, with a focus on LGBTI rights, women’s rights and food security. Erin is also an improv political satirist, actor, and performance and visual artist. She is a regular co-host on 'Morning Blend with Dwight Strachan’ a local radio program.

 Nikita Shiel-Rolle
Nikita Shiel-Rolle is a Bahamian conservation biologist and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of YME & the Cat Island Conservation Institute. She is a UNESCO partner and a focal point for the UNESCO established Caribbean Climate Change Youth Network. Nikita’s work revolves around the UN sustainable development goals where she facilitates community-driven conservation projects with multiple stakeholders. Her work includes research projects, education programming, and community activities that inform policy, management, and ecosystem restoration for sustainable development. . Nikita has a MSc in Biodiversity Wildlife and Ecosystem Health from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in Marine Affairs from the University of Miami.

 Lady Camille Barnett
Camille Lady Barnett has been an educator for over forty-three years and is an Associate Professor at The University of The Bahamas. She earned a Masters of Social Work and a Masters of Education.
Lady Barnett has served as President of The Bahamas AIDS Foundation since 2002. For the last six years she has Co-Chaired the Red Ribbon Ball, which is the major fundraiser of the AIDS Foundation. She is a member of the Zonta Club of Nassau (for the last 30 years), and mentors the Golden Z Cub at The University of The Bahamas.
Lady Barnett is the 2010 winner of the Lady Sassoon Golden Heart Award for community service especially in the area of HIV and AIDS. In 2013 she was named a 'Paul Harris Fellow’ for Community Service by the Rotary Club of East Nassau. More recently, Lady Barnett was appointed to the Board of the Lyford Cay Foundation and she is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The University of The Bahamas.
Lady Barnett is married to Sir Michael Barnett, the former Chief Justice and presently President of The Court of Appeal of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and has two daughters a son in-law, and one precious grandchild.

 Dr. Williamson Chea
Born and raised in Nassau, Dr. Williamson Chea earned his Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and went on to do Medicine at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. He completed residency in General Surgery at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Canada.
Having recently served as Chief of Surgery at the Princess Margaret Hospital, he is currently a Consultant General Surgeon there as well as at Doctors Hospital. He also devotes time teaching medical students and residents as an Associate Lecturer with UWI School of Clinical Medicine and Research in Nassau.
He has been the President of the Cancer Society of the Bahamas since March 2017 after having served as Vice President for 2 years. As an avid gardener, he has been active in HaLT, the Healthy Lifestyles Team of the Cancer Society, promoting healthy diets and backyard gardening in The Bahamas, especially to schoolchildren.
He is happily married to Dr. Christine Chin and is the proud father of 3 college graduates.

 Alex Sheldon
Alex Sheldon is the Deputy Director of the Clinton Global Initiative at the Clinton Foundation. They have over a decade of experience as a researcher and strategist working at the intersection of health and human rights, including roles at Everytown for Gun Safety, the Movement Advancement Project, and several international non-profits, as well as Peace Corps service in the Eastern Caribbean on the island of Dominica. They received an MA in International Human Rights from the University of Denver and a BA in Psychology from Whittier College in California. Alex is also an adjunct professor of Advanced LGBTQ Policy at New York University and a member of the Board of Directors at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center.

 Leazona Bethell-Bennet
Leazona Bethell is a girl from Wulff Road, who became a high school teacher and worked in Bimini and Abaco for many years. She entered the non-profit world by heading up the Abaco Pathfinders Scholarship Foundation, assisting Abaconians in pursuit of a tertiary education.
After moving back to New Providence, she started a small vegan business, but put this on pause once Hurricane Dorian hit Abaco. For the last year she has been working with a US NGO - All Hands and Hearts, Smart Response as the Partnerships Manager. Their work is primarily on restoring schools and homes in communities impacted by natural events. She's been a part of the incredible response of restoring schools, homes and livelihoods in Abaco and is happy to be a part of this tribe of conscious helpers.

 Steffon Evans
Steffon is a youth and community development professional with an undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts from Southern New Hampshire University. He has worked with dozens of Bahamian non-profit organizations and community programs across the islands of The Bahamas to develop their strategic plans, communications strategies, and volunteer programs.
He spent 6 years as an Outreach & Communications Officer at the Bahamas National Trust (BNT) where he managed a cadre of youth development and environmental education programs, the BNT’s national volunteer program and grants and projects for building national environmental awareness. In 2013 he founded a nonprofit volunteer organization, Full Life Outreach (FLO) that is youth-led engages hundreds of young Bahamians in volunteering 10,000 hours per year to fill gaps for non-profit organizations, contribute to active citizenry and bolster personal and professional development in youth.
Steffon believes that each of us has a responsibility to use our voice to push our nation forward and lives to inspire those around him to do just that
