The Organization for Responsible Governance is excited to welcome applicants to its internship programs! ORG internships are exciting, hands-on and specifically designed to equip aspiring leaders with the skills they need to work in governance reform and on local and national development projects.

Details on available internship programs, cohort dates, eligibility and registrations are below:

Dates

ORG welcomes prospective interns to apply for the following cohorts:

Full Internship Cohorts:

  • Spring 2025 Internship -February 3rd – April 11th 2025 (10 weeks)
  • Summer 2025 Internship – June 9th – August 1st 2025 (8 weeks)
  • Fall 2025 Internship – September 22nd – November 28th 2025 (10 Weeks)

Ad Hoc Internship Cohorts

  • November 2024 (4 Weeks)
  • January 2025 (4 Weeks)
  • May 2025 (4 Weeks)

Eligibility

Prospective Interns should:

  1. Be a recent college graduate or currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program at the tertiary level (Colleges, Universities, Technical, Vocational & Training Courses Accepted) or have 2 years experience volunteering with a nonprofit organization.
  2. Have an interest in working with people and communities.
  3. Demonstrate requisite written, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  4. Be prepared to work on a hybrid schedule that involves in-office and remote work days and assignments for a minimum of 8 hours per week (schedules will be designed based on university class or work schedules.
  5. In-person participation in orientation and select trainings, meetings and events will be required for interns based on New Providence & Eleuthera. Special accommodations will be made to facilitate participation of interns on other family islands. (Please note that ORG runs projects across islands and interns may be required to support on-the-ground activities on their islands).
