The Organization for Responsible Governance is excited to welcome leaders of Bahamian environmental and conservation organizations to join cohort 3 our NPO cluster training. This exclusive monthly leadership series will build the governance and leadership capacity of NPOs in this important sub-sector of civil society.
This cohort begins in April and ends in October, 2024. Sessions will be hybrid, for in-person attendance and Family Island participation. Details on each session, eligibility requirements and sign up information will be regularly updated below:

Eligibility
Organizations that participate in the civil society cluster training should:
- Be an organized CSO (Nonprofit Organization, Civic Group, Association, Faith-based Organization) with a board & staff structure
- Be registered under the NPO Act, 2019 (organizations with pending registration should still apply)
- Have the capacity to dedicate a member of staff to a full day’s training, once per month
- Complete the online registration form organizational capacity survey
- Prioritiy is given to conservation-missioned organizations including those whose focus is: general environmental conservation; education & community engagement; research; climate change; advocacy & policy; animal rights; water conservation; waste/pollution management; and other related areas.
